The best skyscraper in the Western Hemisphere is located in Canada
The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat, a non-profit group of architects and engineers, was rated 5 best skyscrapers in the world. The list includes only buildings that were constructed this year. Besides the height of buildings, the experts evaluated the creativity in the construction and design, environmental compliance and the urban landscape. In the Western Hemisphere, the best recognized skyscraper is Absolute Towers, built in Mississauga, Canada. The two Mississauga buildings, 50 storeys and 56 storeys each, are part of a five-building development off Hurontario St. and Burnhamthorpe Rd. In Europe, the best skyscraper called the Palazzo Lombardia, located in Milan. Its height is 161 meters. The best skyscraper of the Asia-Pacific region is called a 135-meter Bligh Street in Sydney, in Africa and the Middle East was the best Doha Tower in Qatar, which has a height of 238 meters.
