Toronto is in the Top 10 Cities in the World
Analyst firm Economist Intelligence Unit and the research firm BuzzData issued a new ranking of the best cities in the world. According it, only Toronto, Canada represents North America in the top ten in a new best city ranking. It should be noted that the ranking analyzed data of 70 cities of the world, but the "long-term" leaders of ratings such as Vancouver did not participate in the contest. Hong Kong ranks as number one in the winning entry, then followed Amsterdam and Osaka. Washington is recognized as the 2 best city in North America, ranked 14th in general. Toronto has received top marks as a green city with low pollution, however the lack of cultural assets and a large number of sprawl had negative impact on rating.
