Two Canadian universities are in the TOP-20 universities in the world
Analytical company Quacquarelli Symonds rated best world`s universities. Two Canadian universities got in the TOP-20. These are University of Toronto and McGill University, Montreal. McGill University ranked as 18, the University of Toronto - 19. In total, 200 universities of the world were in the top rating. Among them, there are 9 Canadian universities. The University of British Columbia is on the 45th place, University of Alberta - on the 108th place , and University of Montreal - 114th place. This year, MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology, United States) replaced University of Cambridge as the top-ranked university worldwide. For the first time, since 2004, it became the leader of the ranking.
Universities evaluated by a number of criteria: the quality of teaching and research, reputation in other countries to attract foreign students, getting a job after training, availability of leisure and entertainment for students, such as yoga centers, sports facilities and so on.
