Nadia Tretikov is originally from the Ukraine and has lived in Canada for the last eighteen years. A writer and poet, she has been publishing poems and short stories in local Toronto media since 2003. More recently, she published a thriller The Running Elephants in 2009, in Russian, and two English publications in 2014 and 2015.
Nadia tried her hand at painting in 1998 and took art classes to enhance her skills in art as well as photography at Seneca College. She creates unique caricatures and images with freehand drawings. Her artwork often accompanies a poem.
Art and poetry are equally important passions in Nadia’s life and like many creative people she seeks to discover and help others discover the beauty of our world through expressions of love, hope and faith.
