Fennell Recognizes Grand Re-Opening of Perpetual Bazaar
Brampton City Hall: Perpetual Bazaar, a local non-profit store in the heart of downtown Brampton, provides an important community service to our City and residents, Mayor Susan Fennell said.
Perpetual Bazaar produces handicrafts made by senior citizens in the Brampton area. Fennell recently participated in the celebration of the store’s grand re-opening.
Fennell said “the array of items that get produced by Perpetual Bazaar, highlight the incredible gifts and craftsmanship of Brampton’s talented and dedicated senior citizens.
“Perpetual Bazaar is a hidden gem which sells beautifully knitted and crochet items at the price of wool. I encourage all residents to drop by this decades old Brampton establishment” Fennell added.
In recognition of Perpetual Bazaar’s outstanding work, Mayor Fennell arranged a gift basket to be sent to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge – on behalf of the people of Brampton – in advance of the historical and celebrated birth of their first child.
Of note, the gifts include a handmade blanket, sweater, booties and hat. Fennell concluded, “Handcrafted here in Brampton, these quality made items are fit for a king or queen.”
